Vintage ideas for kidsrooms

I'm a firm believer to keep as many things as possible ... and yes I know possible plays an important role in this ... but I have kept most of my toys from when i was young and cherish them immensely. I sometimes show them to my boys and we talk about what my son likes to call ... the olden days ... I believe he enjoys listening to how I played and what kind of games we did when were kids. Showing him my toys and some things that I wore really help imaging the stories.

If you haven't kept any of your toys Les Happy Vintage for you to find back some of the things that made you happy when you were a little girl or boy. I am very glad online shops like Les Happy Vintage exists and inspire us how to keep these treasures from the past.

Tuesday's quick start: Wonderlamps

Lovely WonderLamps by Hartendief for us to start a new week with. These lamps come with a little surprise ... you might think only balloons or trees are printed on them but soon when it becomes dark little forest friends come out of there hiding place and lighten up any room with special stories.

No I'm not thinking new babies for our family but the images are just so darn cute that I wish I could start decorating a nursery again :)

Some pink tones today

Totally inspired by MishaLulu's daughter wearing this awesome swim hat (... not sure how you call a swim hat in english?) made me want to search for more salmon pink colors. And see here some of my favorite picks.

Craft project: 3D confetti

Are you loving paper, dots, graphics as much as I do ... then start making 3D confetti like Véronique from Pichouline did. She wrote down the steps for us and made very clear pictures that will also help your children to understand exactly what to do.

I would use let my boys choose their favorite colors and once finished hang the confetti confetti dots on their bedroom wall or use them as garlands for a party!

A baby journal we all love

With the help of my dear mom I made this short movie for you. I thought it was nicer then only showing pictures and I will try to do more of these video's if you like me too? Thanks mama, I'm very happy you are here and you are 'hired' best assistant in town!

Studio April designed a baby journal for Cicada Books. Smart hinking of them to invite talented illustrator Yasmeen Ismail. Her gorgeous illustrations make the journal extra eye-catching.

The baby journal is printed on different paper stocks and comes with little keepsake  envelopes for you to place mementos. A beautiful gift for new parents! I have reserved mine for soon mother to be LilleLykke ... she moved to Singapore, which makes me very happy and I hope we will meet each other soon in person.

The music in this little video is 'Green leaf on the ground' by music artist Lori Henriques. I already loved her first album Lullaby piano , but am happy with her lates album 'outside my door' ... music for all ages :)
