Project #113: DIY message wall sticker
DIY message wall sticker by Véronique from Pichouline
Instead of having black walls I tought to make figures out of the magnetic/chalkboard wallpaper.
What you'll need:
*wall paper – I used magnetic-chalkboard wallpaper
*double sided tape
*chalk
*cord
*silk paper
*balloon template - or choose your own template
*scissors
Step 1:
Make a template of any figure you like, I made a balloon. Go around the template with chalk or pencil on your wallpaper.
Step 2:
Cut the template out.
Step 3:
To make the fluffy bows, cut 3 strips (width +/- 4cm - length +/- 15cm). Fold the paper like an accordeon at the end fix it with a cord. Unfold the silk paper strips until you get a fluffy bow. Repeat it just as many bows you want.
Step 4:
Put some double sided tape on the back of your template, stick it onto your wall, to make sure you can easily remove it use not to strong double sided tape.
Put a cord behind the template and attach the bows to it.
Step 5:
Write any message to your beloved ones on your template or put messages, pictures….with magnets on it.
ps. I also made a jewelry-messagehanger for the grown-ups which you can find over at BloesemLiving.
