This is probably one of the nicest books I have read together with my son ... such an adventurous story about a little boy who needs to go and buy some apples for his mom in the grocery shop behind their home ... the little boy has to walk via their backyard to the shop and with his enormous imagination their backyard suddenly becomes this wild forest where you can find a dragon, sleeping giant, wales, a pirate-ship and more...each scene is beautifully illustrated and viewed from above filled with fantastic details....my son 'eats' this book and not only listens carefully when I read it to him, he also becomes the little boy which makes it very funny for me...
This book looks gorgeous! I love the illustrators "view from the top".

beautiful. her other book, the Sinterklaas boek (not the time of year now :) is also so very cute!
