little catwalk ... a super stylish new online webshop for children age 0-6 years old founded by two people who have a great background in the children's fashion industry ... Kike from Spain and Manon from the Netherlands both worked for ZARA and decided it was time for them to sell their favorite fashion products online. Fantastic brands like the clothes in the images from Lili & The Funky Boys, but also antik batik, Imps&Elfs, Filament ... to name just a few ... have fun shopping here!

haciendo el indio ... Cristina Serrano from Spain sent me a lovely email about her fantastic designs and characters that tell wonderful stories in the universal language of children. I have always been a huge fan of South-European designs for children's clothing and accessories, they are just so sweet looking, often the South Europeans use soft colors and friendly designs for their pieces and I really like that ...
wow .. love these funky dresses and awesome prints from Clothkits ... I can't remember exactly where I saw them for the first time, but as I understand from their website this Sussex based company already excists for 40 years, having been originally set up in 1968 by Anne Kennedy ... nowawadays clothkits works with some great designers for their prints... here you can find the whole collection, including soft toy, dolls and other goodies ...

I'm seriously considering buying this fantastic growth chart from UK-based design and print company Bold&noble ...thanks Odeehdoh for sharing!
When I saw these images on Jenny's LMNOP blog I was dreaming of having a small gym like that in our apartment ... our son is such an active and energetic boy that I'm sure he would love to climb against the wall like this, I also love the idea of the long chalkboard against the wall... the images are from the playrooms at Bamba, a kidsactivity centre located in Belgium ... Bamba is a place that offers space dedicated for playing and socializing, a splendid playing zone ...

Since yesterday I'm the lucky owner of this incredible sweet jungle mobile designed by Lorena Siminovich and made in the San Francisco area from beautiful bamboo ... although you might have seen some images of the mobile somewhere in blogland I can honestly tell you that it's even better looking in real!! Also the packaging is so beautifully done, that I'm going to leave it as it is for the time being and put in on one of the shelves in our new nursery ... a BIG thank you to Lorena ... on her website I also found her latest print ... "we are in this together" ... LOVE it order today and shipping will be free, enter XOXO when checking out!

a Romantic dinner for your children ... why not? Jenny is explaining us why we should not forget about our children during Valentine's day and of course she is giving us some great and easy recipes!

My little boy is still a bit to young to understand what a painting is and of course to be patient enough to create something as beautiful as the two boys in the images have done .. but as soon as he is old enough I will remember this post and us the very useful information from Martha's journal on how to "teach" your child (and myself) about art ... Sally from the gorgeous blog ShimsandSons introduced me to the tutorial and perhaps some of you have already seen it .. i still would like to show it on B:Kids and spread the word about this excellent post, Thanks Martha!

A fantastic Open House Tour from one of my very favorite 'children's clothing artists', Jimin from SmallVILLE studio ... her blog, shop and images are always a huge inspiration for me, I love her eye for detail and color and admire her endless uniqueness! Enjoy this great Open House Tour and the Jimin's answers to my questions.
Time to tell ... yes, it's about time ... time to share some very exciting news with you ... something very beautiful is growing inside of me ... a little angel that I'm so much looking forward to hold in my arms, feed, see its face, smell its skin, to cuddle it, but I will patiently wait another 8 weeks and enjoy the incredible feeling of having this little one inside of me ...
... time to start preparing a small nursery, washing new clothes, preparing big brother, Lode, for the arrival of a new baby in the family, and I'm very lucky to finally have a legitimate reason to buy some of the fantastic baby items I often write about ..
... and yes I will continue writing on B:Kids ... it's just the perfect way for me to combine my love for kids’ design with becoming a mom again myself, and hopefully be able to share even more of my feelings, ideas and experiences with you ...
And what better time than now to announce the 8 winners of my Birthday Giveaway with you :: Anthea, Elizabeth, Raquel, Kim, Desiree, Sarah, Lisa and Dora ... it was definitely not an easy pick and I truly am thankful for all your recommendations and ideas! (I'm so sorry to say that because some readers carry the same name you think you might have won, but the women I mentioned here already received an email from me to congratulate them)
