Hope you enjoyed this week on BloesemKids...I have so much more fun working within the new design. Next there is going to be huge amont of gorgeous content...will you come back?
It took waaaayyy too long, but finally BloesemKids is going to start delicious recipes 'for' and 'with kids' again! Yeaahhhh I'm really excited about this...because believe me I'm not so much a cook myself and baking is something I hardly ever do...but Vivien is and she strongly urged me to start bringing this column back to life...so we invited two lovely ladies...food bloggers: Damaris from KitchenCorners and Sandra from Babynumnum. Every other week on Fridays they will share a special recipe with us, tell you exactly what to do and what kind of ingredients you would need...
Damaris is kicking of today with a super easy Halloween snack. Please read more about Damaris right here and click here for the Orange Jack-o-Lanterns!

"Christmas is my families’ favorite holiday. I usually have my boys help me decorate the tree on Thanksgiving (I know its early but we love to see the pretty lights as we think about what we are thankful for). Every year we go to a little town called Julian which is about 45 minutes from my house but it feels like it’s another state. This city is full of antique shops, old historic buildings (really doesn’t look like it’s changed at all for about 100 years), horses and lots of apple trees. They are known for their famous apple pie! We go in our “winter clothes” and walk into the shops and eat apple pie as we spend quality time together and funny stories. In Southern California we are lucky if it even feels cold at Christmas time so when we go to Julian it really adds to the “Christmas feel” because they usually have a light sprinkle of snow on the ground (in California it isn’t uncommon to see people walk around in shorts, tanks and flip flops at winter!)"
Kellie is a regular contributor for the What to Wear posts on BKids but she is much more importantly the absoluut best kids fashion designer from the Netherlands ... and it wouldn't be appropriate if she would write her own post about the fantastic new BB+++ collection... so I'm very happy to do it for her :)
I love everything about the new Buisjes en Beugels collection, the colors, dots and stripes are all very welcome in my house. I have a couple of BB+++ peices for my boys and the very small details in all the clothes make them so very special. Don't be scared by the perhaps to fashionable or trendy images...your kids can easily wear them too! The one thing that i love most about BB+++ is that all the pieces are elegant, simple but with a unique twist!

After weeks of spending so many hours behind the computer it's really time for me to start doing creative things with my hands again, I miss the feel of fabrics, yarns and needles. A webshop like Magpie patterns is a perfect place on the net for me to search for new ideas or to buy embroidery patterns like the ones from September House. My favorite craft is knitting but would love to become better in sewing...perhaps one day I can make a cute baby bear like the one above too...Magpie patterns is an excellent source for crafting and will definitely encourage you to start something too :)
