I'm starting with something cheerful this week... Carnival! Will you be celebrating this year, i believe it is only two weeks from now...but plenty of time to create a nice costume yourself for the kids! To be honest we will not be celebrating, but I was brought up in a true Carnival family, i believe it is in my genes :) so around this time of year I am getting a bit excited and perhaps I will use these DIY samples for my boys whenever they wanna do a costume party at home....
In the top image: funny ghosts via fffound and a beautiful little owl from Ellen Luckett Baker.... more images...
In the image above: amazing Bird Masks
that i saw over at ModernKids
Another great costume from by Ellen Luckett Baker over at alpha mom or would you rather see your child in this cute Peter Pan costume from MerMag...
or you girl could be looking like this lovely little pioneer, I saw in La Petite Magazine... and finally I absolutely loved this idea of a felt mask via my little day...

Some brands just keep on bringing a better collection each year and Misha Lulu is definitely one of them...not only are the prints and designs super fun, the look-book itself is like a fairytale and the images are eye-candy.
Misha Lulu has divided the new collection in 4 lines ; the baker-gallery, home-grown, blue-bird and swimmers....if
i would have a girls their wardrobe would be packed with Misha Lulu
pieces...guess it leaves me with only one question, when will there be a
new collection for the boys?

I know many of you love to craft, sew and make things so perhaps the FabricWorm is a new welcome stop for you online when searching for the right fabrics...Fabricworm has a huge collection fabrics from known and not so known designers... it was difficult for me to make a small selection, but the ones in the image made me think of spring...i love the farm village for a nursery, if you are not so good in sewing perhaps you can just wrap the fabric around some canvas and hang it as wall decoration.

I came accross this shop recently and just love it... hope you do too! Olive's friend Pop is a collection of vintage-inspired, original clothing for little girls or as the founders Julia and Lea call it 'nostalgic playwear'. I enjoyed reading this interview over at KidMagazine with them...
