How do you like Max's and Violet's rooms so far? They look like they are right out of a Pinterest board, aren't they? Coming to the last part of Emily's house tour, we give beautiful Lola's room a visit - every bit as magical as her brother's and sister's!
Using soft colours like shades of blush with gold accents is an instant recipe for a room fit for a princess.. If you take a closer look, you can see that Lola's rug is made of silver threads too which, together with her star decals on the wall and twinkly cushions, make her room a starry night every day.. Oh, we wished we our bedrooms looked this dreamy!
If you're inspired to give your kids' rooms a little change, like all of us are, head down to Dempsey Hill and give Emily's shop, Cuckoo, a little visit! Most of the items you see can be found there. New year, new look right?
Thanks so much for showing us around your beautiful home, Emily!

It's not all princess and pink.. After seeing Violet's dreamy little space in our 3-part house tour, Emily of Cuckoo shows us how we can spruce up a boy's room next to make it look equally charming. Take it from her son, Max!
Against a simple colour scheme of cool blues against neutrals, he lets his prized possessions (look at his Star Wars toys!) take the spotlight. The proud collection sits neatly on his shelf, while the rest of his favourite toys lay in his nifty Play And Go bags, big enough to store his pool of train sets and tracks. So easy to scoop it all up after playtime! A clutter-free environment is always pleasing to the eye.. But the cheeky prints that adorn the walls has got to be one of our favourite parts!
Max's room makes me eager to beef up my boys' room too.. New year, new look right? Most of these items can be found in Emily's shop, Cuckoo, along Dempsey Hill. If you're looking for a last minute gift, we think the Play And Go bag is going to make a good one, for both Mums and kids!

We joined Emily, co-founder of Cuckoo, at her place the other day to do a photoshoot of her 3 kidsrooms that look like they have been taken straight out of a gorgeous Pinterest board.. I mean, her home is already such a dream to work with, and her family's absolutely lovely!
Today we give sweet little Violet's room a visit.. Simple and cosy but it's definitely looking pretty magical. The use of soft colours with dashes of pink and gold.. Truly fitting for a little princess don't you think? It's decked and furnished with specially curated designer items from Cuckoo, which has got everything you need for your tiny humans in their store. Beds, prints, chairs, dolls.. you name it!
There's still more to come of this house tour, this is but one part of Emily's beautiful home.. so hang around! In the meantime, head over to their store along Dempsey Hill and go say Hi! They're a friendly bunch and the store.. well, we wouldn't miss it.

Mid week inspiration! Using drift wood to create shelving and displays in your kids room.. such an adorable way of displaying your kids clothes. Pinterest is full of ideas and inspiration for using drift wood as kids display. We love how it brings just a little nature into the room and the raw finishing gives an edgy contrast to rest of the decor. How about painting the wood in a fun pop of colour or even spray painting it to create a gradient colour?
