We are starting the week with shoes ... perhaps the cutest we have seen this year :)!
Three moms from Australia, Katie, Rosie and Jo decided the world needs cute shoes like these, and they were right. We really do need them! Especially since they are handmade from leather.
Discovered them via my instagram. Instagram is really a great place to find out about new designers and companies you did not know about before. Then when you find a company you like, following their feed allows you to stay up to date and sometimes even find out about offers they might be having (everyone loves a sale!).
Favorite little fact we found out from their site is that the 3 founding ladies have 8 kids between them and all their products are tested for durability. Isn't that cute! Imagine 8 little ones all running around in these adorable shoes.

The Bloesem Team has had the great opportunity to work with the lovely ladies over at Lile Sadi and recently, Sarah brought our attention to the Lile Sadi Petitie collection! I simply adore the bear print. The muted tones of greys make for the perfect background for the bears.
The bears come alive in Lile Sadi's kitchen accessories like the Bread board in the shape of a bear. A quirky piece that would liven up any kitchen.
The clothing from Lile Sadi Petite are great for the really young children but for the older kids, and teenagers, Lile Sadi does great prints and wallpapers that would look spectacular in their rooms.

As usual, one fine day while browsing through the wonders of pinterest, I came across the most adorable shot of this little girl with a headband made out of candy and color me intrigued (kinda have a huge sweet tooth, and can't pass up edible accessories). I quickly googled Caffe D'Orzo and the all-knowing search engine led me to the label's facebook.
Love the tropical and bohemian influences in their Spring line. Plus the styling with the oversized floral crowns and tassles is just the cherry on top of this tropical goodness!

You guys already know how much we like tinycottons from our last post about them, but you are going to love them after this. We just saw a preview of their summer collection and especially if you are in a cold wintery place right now, you are going to be craving for summer. Lucky (or not so lucky) for us, Singapore is a perpetual oven, just with some random downpour during the monsoon season.
We love the whimsical prints and patterns they have incorporated into the line. Let's be honest clothing for kids come in a few basic forms, like onesies and tops and bottoms but with fun prints, everything changes!
I (= Zara) am a stripe kinda girl, with a ridiculous amount of striped clothing, but i have to say my favorites in this summer collection have to be the shovel and the Swimmers patterns.( They have stripes too so I'm set. haha.. :) ... click here to see more images from the new collection.
The tinycottons Summer collection 2014 is only in stores February 2014 but this is a great preview, so get your wallets ready! ANd we are very happy to announce that we will be selling the collection too in our new brick and Mortar Bloesem shop in Tiong Bahru here in Singapore!

Did you know that in Southern Italy a red pepper is seen as a lucky charm? That's what we found out from Red Pepper Hats' website!
A small company based in Northern Italy, Red Pepper Hats makes these absolutely beautiful limited edition hats and accessories in small quantities.
Founder and maker Nadine Winckers, who is a trained pilot, left the Netherlands to follow her husband to Northern Italy. It was here that she followed her passion ... making hats. Using millinery technics, Red Pepper Hats are made with the best quality of materials and extra attention is paid to detail and comfort... we all know how important comfort is when choosing a hat for your little ones.
It's not only girls who are treated with hats also boys can choose , Kiet would probabbly go for the but Indian headdress.
