Let's start a new week with some wall stories ... do you have a wall story in your home? We all know about wall decals (in fact we have a great giveaway going on at the moment) and wall stickers but you will love the passion behind Dutch company, Perron 11 for decorating walls.
The founders of Perron 11 believe that each child has their own story and personality and that each room should have a sticker that would fit best with each child's character. This way it makes the room as comfortable as possible, letting the little one play and sleep in their own customized space.
This could be a memroie of where they once lived ... Paris?! or when your child lives abroad like mine do and still love Amsterdam ... but it could easily be a fantasy, balloons, cats or monsters.
At Perron 11 they also believe their wallpapers are just the beginning and that the children continue telling their own stories.
We at BKids love this fresh concept behind wall decoration, giving a room so much more character and your child the oppurtuntiy to fantasize and use their room as a genuine play room. More images below the fold that will get you inspired.
Let your child tell his or her story here.

And just like that it's Monday again! Hope everyone had a good weekend?
We start this week with design studio Jaturon! Mastermind behind this studio is Jaturon Piansakulrat, so we know where the studio gets it's name from (; The studio produces a line of textile goods and paper products that you can purchase online on his website.
All the original designs are screen-printed using non-toxic inks. Always something important to note for our kids. I love the sketchy nature of his designs and how all his inspirations come from nature and things like patterns. I believe his designs can be appreciated by both the young ones and the young at heart.
From pouches to pillows, his endearing designs have found a place in our hearts and hopefull your homes too...

Today's quick start features Martha Stewart's favorite crafts for kids book. I'm amazed at how many crafts are packed into this 350 page book of endless fun for kids and maybe their moms and dads too!
I'm still going through the book (its going to take some time to get through all the activities, there is quite alot of them!) but so far a favorite has got to be 'Painted Umbrellas'. The name says it all and i think its a great simple project for the young ones to get creative with paint and something they actually use .... no need for them wait long I believe with rainy season in most countries right now.
Another nice project is the Leaf Alphabet ... I saw some great variations floating on pinterest the last coupe of weeks but Handmade Charlotte's one must be the most perfect one! ... couldnt resist sharing the cute image by Sabine Timm too ... :)
Join in the fun, you can get your copy of the book here.

Rachel Powell is a surface pattern and wallpaper designer. You might have seen some of the prints and wallpapers by her before, but it was this screenprint above that really caught my eye .. i love the simplicity and the paperbag background color ... the fabrics are available by the meter and with just a little bit of imagination you will be able to transform your home or even just a few pieces within your space.
Her prints are playful and give a general sense of happiness. Definitely something you would love to see the moment you step through the door after a long day at work.
The cheerful nature of Rachel Powell's creations have found it's way into my heart and hopefully your homes as well :)
