Definitely something a little different than the kids wear we usually see, Ine de haes does 3D drapery and graphic knitwear for kids. With their use of clean lines and minimal colours, their out of the box designs are definitely something that even kids with safer taste in clothing would not mind giving a go! The shapes and patterns can be see as a twist on patterns that we have all come to know and love in kidswear designs.

One way to make a kids room fun and friendly is my introducing small elements that can add a little life to the space. We thought this collection of cotton and linen handmade pieces by Cocon are simply too cute to pass up. The animals and natural elements like the trees and twigs all add to this idea of living in a fantasy land, maybe somewhere in the forest. Definitely something that will let a child's imagination run wild.
Other than the usual posters and stuffed animals, what other elements do you have in your child's room to make it fun and homely?

Luisa Et La Luna is a New York based label that produces clothes for both ladies and girls. Their kids range is perfect for little ladies between the ages of 2 and 10. They explore pieces that have feminine yet modern silhouettes.
The unqiue forms coupled with the blush tones and subtle patterns create the perfect balance. Something girly without being too feminine in the stereotypical sense, ie. putting on a flowery dress. The balloon sleeves together with the bloomers allow for fun times to be had all while looking like a little lady.

Light weight and natural textures are our favourite for the Spring time! Sometimes we can just let the natural beauty of the flowers and leaves around us get the spotlight. French label, Arthur and Zoe has captured that carefree quality that we all would love to encapsulate at this time of year! We can just imagine running through fields in one of their dresses..

When a brand is fun and colourful, you don't just like what they sell, you like the entire label and everything that comes with it. Beep Kidswear is so much fun and the entire world of Beep is made up of quirky characters that not only look great on the clothing but would also be perfect in a storybook. Pop over and meet the little lion who thinks bad hair days are for tigers and his friend the bi-polar bear.
Their collection fits boys and girls up to 24 months to wear daily for everyday play!

We've got to hand it to Willaby, they have managed to make simply beautiful kids wear for new born up till 4 year, including some unisex designs that are classic with a modern twist. Made to last, all the pieces are made from 100% natural fine fabrics and produced in partnership with skilled local artisans. We are really enjoying the shift towards going local.
Willaby clothes are designed by Kim Woods. As a painter, we trust her eye for colour and her artistic sense that she has brought into the construction of the collection.
