Project #178: DIY Robot puppets
DIY Robot puppets by Wimke Tolsma
If you thought robots are just for boys, you are wrong! My girls love them and they are so easy to make. Robots can also be girly and have sweet faces and a touch of pink. We made robots out of cardboard and made them move, they can even do jumping jacks! Perfect for a present or hang them in the kids room. - Wimke
What you will need:
* Cardboard in different colours
* Black marker
* Split pins
* Glue
* Scissors
* Rope
* Needle
Steps: Cut the cardboard into different shapes and sizes: squares, triangles, cirles. Put the shaes together to make the robot's body, use your creativity, make them as crazy and out of this planet as you want (they are robots after all!). Nothing is too crazy. Put the moveable limbs on using split pins to fix them on. Thread the backside of the limbs loosely to a string. Your robot is now a jumping jack! Have a lot of fun with this DIY! - Wimke
