#Project 180: DIY Hama bead and tassel necklaces
DIY Hama bead necklaces by Wimke Tolsma
A girl can never have enough jewelry. Did you know that using simle things you can make some nice jewelry? Make a bracelet of penne pasta, or a neckless of straws? We love colour and made necklaces out of these colourful Hama beads. - Wimke
* HAMA beads
* Embroidery thread
* Darning needle
* Postcard / cardboard
Step 1 - Making the Necklace: Take about one meter of embroidery thread. Thread the iron beads on the wire with the colors you like. Make a long neckless that you also can wear around your wrist. To make the chain even more fun, make a tassel.
Step 2 - Making the Tassel : Take a postcard and wrap embroidery thread 10 times around it. Carefully remove the wire path. Using a wire, of about 10 cm, in the middle of the spool of thread a knot. Get the wire and there arises a bobbin. With another color of embroidery thread you wrap a few times around the spool. Cut the wires from the spool and cut them pretty straight. Now the tassel is ready for the necklace.
Have a lovely day making these necklaces together Moms and daughters! - Wimke
