Our doors are open

Last weekend, we opened the doors of the Bloesem Creative Space to the public. It was almost like a house warming/block party/letting people come check out who the new kids on the block are type event. Nobody brought us a casserole or a homemade pie but we did have some delicious cookies and spoons of fudge that we posted on our instagram.
From our past few months working in the space, we have met a few of our neighbours but not quite as many as we know are living or working around the Tiong Bahru area, so we opened our windows and doors, played some music, posted about the showroom being open on our social media and waited for the magic to happen.
And you know what, the magic did happen! Thank you to everyone who came down and those who were there supporting us in spirit with your wonderful comments and messages on all the social media platforms. The Bloesem Team really did feel so much love! Anouk of Time Capsules, was also our pillar of emotional support, helping us out through out the weekend. (She's also our studio mate working along side the Bloesem Team in the creative space) It was great having her there and letting her talk to all the people who were intrigued by her Time Capsules.
The BU! Blankets were one of the superstars of the weekend. Customers of all ages found the blankets a delight, with their fun eye cut-outs. Luckily I was there with the camera when this little girl was playing with the blanket. She was the only one I caught on camera, but trust me there were plenty of people getting a kick out of the blankets, even adults! And they have to be one of the bestsellers so far. We totally understand why, it's such a fun gift idea!
We are constantly bringing in more products and different things. The weekend was great getting feedback from all those who visited the Bloesem Creative Space. For now, you can find all the items in our showroom online at Bloesem.co.
