Have you seen Winter Water Factory's Fall 2012 collection? This brand which is entirely made in the USA and from 100% organic cotton, always uses such beautiful bold and fresh designs. Nothing is different this season as the array of colors used could perk up any gloomy winter day. They've got several new designs as well in the Fall 2012 collection - I especially like their new Winter Forest print and Confetti print. Winter Water Factory is also celebrating their 10 year anniversary this month! You can read all about how they got started here. ~Tiffany King

Hi! I'm Deborah from Kickcan
& Conkers and I am delighted to be contributing to
Bloesem Kids whilst Irene is away. My thoughts go out to her and her family,
and I sincerely hope that she will take all the time she needs.
For my first post, I'd like to share with you
the adorable world of Swantje & Frieda, a small German label selling "fine little
things". [ MORE IMAGES]
I discovered Swantje's work a couple of years
ago and I am delighted to see her business growing and her blog and facebook page gaining in popularity.
Swantje, currently offers a small selection of postcards and prints in her Dawanda
shop, and has designed some very cute children's cushions
and totes via the Envelop site.
Small is definitely beautiful here, once again
showing that you really don't need a shop chock-full of goods to stand out from
the crowd.
I am sure that many little (and big) girl
would be thrilled to hang a piece of Swantje & Frieda's artwork in
their home, and her pillows would make very special Christmas presents indeed.

I love to sew, but it has to be VERY simple. Any crazy inserts or
folds and my mind starts going blank. This is why I have fallen for this French
pattern book Basique pour les 2 à 6 ans. Simple tunics, tops and skirts, easy to sew but, which is the crucial part,
they look lovely when they are being worn. There is even a blog on which all the
creative ladies who have made clothes based on the patterns from: Basique pour les 2 à 6 ans, post their creations, with ideas and tips on how they did it.
Now the book is in French, but the illustrations and the patterns are so
simple, it is pretty easy to decipher, even if your French is a little
rusty. ~ Emilie

I stumbled upon these gorgeous handmade
moccasins from Becky
Brisco last
month and just couldn't resist buying a pair for our new baby (due any day
now!). This is our fourth baby, and of course by now I don't need to buy
anything new... except, of course, for a pair of super cosy shearling moccasins
to keep the baby's toes toasty warm this winter! The moccasins just arrived in
the post, and I can attest that they are just as beautiful in person.

Hello, it's Yvonne from Yvestown here and
I'm guest blogging while Irene is with her family in this difficult time.
When Irene asked me to guest blog for Bloesem I
asked her if it was ok if I'd do some posts for Bloesem Kids instead. I do not
have children of my own and although I don't have that "tickle" yet
to get children (I should hurry up I'm almost 38) I love spending time browsing
for kids stuff as it's so much fun.
Little girls are always associated with the colour
pink and a lot of mothers dress their girls in pink. Although pink is my
favourite colour I don't use it as a base colour. I believe that pink should
always be a sub colour.
This guide is to give you inspiration how to dress your girl
"girly" without using too much pink. ~Yvonne

I discovered this magazine. You really should take a look at her blog too. Hope you will get inspired and enjoy
