We received a couple of items from the Kerry & Mase 2016 collection a while ago to style and photograph for their social media platforms, and we've got to say - it was almost a breeze considering how adorable they already are! Based right here on this little island, they've got you covered with comfortable kidswear, comfortable enough to frolick around in in this eternal summer.. And those shoes! Bright, cheery colours to match the endless sunny days we get, sure to leave your kids feeling chipper.. And our hearts totally melted.

Being able to hold these chic and modern pieces, handmade and designed in soft, exotic organic mulberry silk and cotton silk, we have to agree that they don't only look good, but they surely feel like a dream too. Don't take our word for it though, give it a try yourself!

Now, if only we could go back to being 3 again and hop into these clothes..

Le Petit Society

It was so hard to choose which images to feature here, there were so many adorable ones to choose from so of course you should go have a look at them over on Le Petit Society's website. Recently the Bloesem team had the amazing opportunity of styling and photographing the latest Spring/summer'15 collection by Le Petit Society. Full of adorable tutu skirts, dresses, and prints.. don't worry the boys were in on the stylish action too.. like these yummy sprinkles tee.

Using all our own props from the Bloesem store, (except for 2 great wooden animals brought by the models which could not be more perfect) we set up the shot and waited for the little models to arrive and for the magic to happen. It was our first time working with tiny models so we did not know what to expect... but we think it all turned out pretty well.. what do you think?

There are so many more pieces in this beautiful collection and it'd be a shame if you didn't go have a browse.. even if you didn't have any children, you would be tempted to get one of those tutus for your future little lady..

Growth Chart - Make History

The Make History family has officially welcomed a new member .. The Growth Chart! We've already seen the Growth Chart making it's way round the world of instagram, popping up on our feed several times in a day.. but we would like to officially introduce it to you!

The Growth Chart is so close to Bloesem because we've seen our favourite product designer, marketing specialist and all round favourite person, Anouk van der El, working hard on it for awhile now and we were also honored to do the styling and photography for the Growth Chart.

We're sure you are already too familiar with the Time Capsules and the Little Quote Jar, both great products that fly off the shelf in the Bloesem shop.. We've just stocked the shop with Growth Charts and we're already running low. It's a great design and functional piece that both parents and children can enjoy. We've seen so many growth charts with overly childish designs that do not go with the room decor (you know the ones) but this one is just the right amount of playful and cool.

So go ahead and add this cool graphic Growth Chart to your child's room .. mark their growth and take it with you when you move.. it comes flatpacked and can be kept as a nice momento once the little ones have outgrown the chart.

We've placed one up on the wall in the Bloesem shop and it's lovely to see that kids are naturally drawn to it asking their parents to tell them how tall they are.. their favourite part is when we mark down their height and write their name beside it .. so wonderful to see their little faces light up!

The Growth Chart is a collaboration between Anouk van der El of Make History and blogger Erin Loechner (she writes Design for Mankind ) .. having met for the first time in Singapore while Erin was here to teach here Bloesem Classes on social media and blogging. Great to see Bloesem Class connecting creatives from all over the world.

Start 2015 with the Growth Chart and create memories by tracking your child's growth.. I always remember marking my height as a child as a very exciting time!

Recently launching their latest collection in their store here in Singapore, Elly's new range features a myriad of bright fun colors and quirky prints (who doesn't love mustaches on their shirt?). We know that in most parts of the world you guys are going to be experiencing cold weather soon, or have already started to be, but for some of us it's still the season for bright colors and florals.

Elly's kidwear features a range of lightweight dresses and onesies for the girls which we totally adore in this heat. Plus the frills on the sleeves melt our heart for sure.

One of our favourites in the new collection is the baby girl onsie in floral floric apricot. This design also comes in a matching dress for older girls so that sisters can be matchy matchy! It's cute!

This whimsical mustache print cracked us up! Perfect for a little guy.

As easy as ABC

Giantsuper was the product of Paul teaching his son the ABCs. Using simple shapes and bright colors, the flashcards feature fun and graphic animals. After other parents started requesting Paul print more copies for their children, he decided to share his work with the rest of the world.

Bright colours, animals, shapes and patterns ... these cards are not only designed beautifully, they are made beautifully as well. All the cards come in a sturdy luxurious box, nothing like the flash cards I used as a kid. This product is so unique .. to be enjoyed by both parent and child. Learning ABCs just became a whole lot more attractive!

Eden & Zoe

Last week we received a surprise package with what seems to be the softest, most luxurious pieces of clothing ever. Our lovely friends over at Eden & Zoe sent over a few of their cashmere pieces and everyone is in love with them. Sadly the blanket would be too small for an adult to cuddle in and the clothes would never fit us (maybe just one of our arms?).

But! For everyone and anyone with a daughter, this is for you!

You wouldn't ever be able to tell (and we were shocked to find out) but each of the small collections Eden & Zoe carries is made up of pure cashmere pieces, which are all created using a hand-operated knitting machine and then finished by hand. We are officially impressed.

If comfort is your main concern when purchasing clothing for your princesses, then it isn't really even a concern in this case. The pieces are so soft and well-made, no more  "itchy" knitwear problems, which can really be an issue when bundling up in the cold seasons. Also cashmere is natural and breathable, perfect for children's wear. Plus the stretchiness of the pieces allow for comfortable stretching and play, which we all know is very important for every child.
