Last Friday was Bloesem's first ever pop-up shop in our new location and we were so overwhelmed with the amount of support our friends and customers showed by coming down.. thought the official opening time was 9 am, we had customers who came down at 8.45 am, right before heading to work, so as not to miss the event! We want to thank everyone for coming down and making it such a fun day, despite the wet blanket that was the stormy afternoon.
For our friends who could not make it down (we received so many emails) due to work or because you don't live in Singapore, we don't want to leave you out of the loop! We would like to thank you too for all the kind words you have sent us through all forms of social media, extending you support.. we definitely feel the love and that's why we knew that as soon as we got back to work on Monday, the first thing we had to do was take the pop-up sale online!

Father's Day is just around the corner and what's better than a card with a heartfelt message for Papa! The egg press cards have been great, with a design for every occasion. My favorite has got to be the ones with the mustaches. Perfect for telling Dad how much you love and appreciate him.
For this special occasion, Bloesem has dedicated one whole to table to the most important guys in our lives. With everything we think would make our Dad's one happy camper. Corby and the whole gang have landed in Bloesem! These guys are really a joy to have around, you just can't help but feel happy when you go about your day and one of them catches your eye. We have them sitting by the window, just hanging out, watching the world go by.
This interactive weather map has felt toys that are secured to the map by velcro so kids can pluck them off and place them on whatever part of the world they think the cloud should be.
Or if your little one is more of a vehicle-loving child, we have the road map! A set including a felt map and a set of felt toys such as cars, bicycles and a hot air balloon. Just leave your child with this set and let his/her imagine run wild!

With our online store fully up and running, we though it'd be nice to introduct some of the members of the Bloesem.co family to you. The BU! Blankies flew off the shelf and we've only a few left till we get more in but for now, here are a few of our other gems you can find in our online store. We mainly ship in Asia but if you would like to order from anywhere else you should just drop us an email and we can try to figure something out.
I have to say, one of the "hottest" items in the shop are these weave mats. We have almost every color of the rainbow all bundled together sitting near the window (comes in a few different sizes as well) and almost everyone has to stop for a second look at the colorful feature in the window. Perfect for a child's room, these colorful mats can be whiped down easily with a wet cloth so parents, you won't get a mini heart attack everytime some kinda juice of sorts spills. Also they really brighten up the room. A great affordable piece for a mini room makeover.
What else is there??
These adorable bread boards from Snug studio are just the perfect setting for a after-school snack or sandwich for the kiddos. Literally cute as a button! But that doesn't mean us adults can't have our fun. When the kids are done, we bust out of cheeses and voila! Cheese platter time.
The mat you see here under the bread boards, is part of the Brita Sweden collection of mats we have. Made of vinyl, they are perfect for homes with pets or children, just wipe it down with a wet towel, no more fur or dust caught in the rugs we have at home. Also its not slippery, many customers have asked us that and we walk on one every single day and have no problems with slipping at all.
On the way to the online store is a range of kids clothes, and we are pretty excited for that!

Last weekend, we opened the doors of the Bloesem Creative Space to the public. It was almost like a house warming/block party/letting people come check out who the new kids on the block are type event. Nobody brought us a casserole or a homemade pie but we did have some delicious cookies and spoons of fudge that we posted on our instagram.
From our past few months working in the space, we have met a few of our neighbours but not quite as many as we know are living or working around the Tiong Bahru area, so we opened our windows and doors, played some music, posted about the showroom being open on our social media and waited for the magic to happen.
And you know what, the magic did happen! Thank you to everyone who came down and those who were there supporting us in spirit with your wonderful comments and messages on all the social media platforms. The Bloesem Team really did feel so much love! Anouk of Time Capsules, was also our pillar of emotional support, helping us out through out the weekend. (She's also our studio mate working along side the Bloesem Team in the creative space) It was great having her there and letting her talk to all the people who were intrigued by her Time Capsules.
More Bloesem excitement after the cut..
The BU! Blankets were one of the superstars of the weekend. Customers of all ages found the blankets a delight, with their fun eye cut-outs. Luckily I was there with the camera when this little girl was playing with the blanket. She was the only one I caught on camera, but trust me there were plenty of people getting a kick out of the blankets, even adults! And they have to be one of the bestsellers so far. We totally understand why, it's such a fun gift idea!
We are constantly bringing in more products and different things. The weekend was great getting feedback from all those who visited the Bloesem Creative Space. For now, you can find all the items in our showroom online at Bloesem.co.
